Mission/Vision
The Theo B. Daniels Youth Legacy Foundation is dedicated to empowering youth in inner-city communities through sports, academic enrichment, and mentorship. Inspired by Mr. Daniels' pivotal role in co-founding the Overtown (Miami) Optimist Club in 1993—a safe haven for children during critical out-of-school hours—we strive to continue his mission of fostering personal growth and positive life outcomes for young individuals in Metro Atlanta and South Florida.
Inspired by the legacy of Theo Baker "Bubba" Daniels, our foundation is committed to making a lasting impact on inner-city youth in Metro Atlanta. Daniels, a visionary in youth sports and co-founder of the Overtown Optimist Club in Miami, dedicated his life to providing children with opportunities to grow through sports, education, and mentorship. Continuing this mission, we are expanding our reach to Metro Atlanta, where we will offer programs designed to empower underserved youth, fostering resilience, academic success, and personal development in a supportive community.
